4-series windshield replacement - is this trim installed correctly?

New OE BMW windshield installed by Safelite. The rubber trim on the sides of the windshield (A-Pillar) don't tuck under the glass which seems odd to me, I don't remember that before. I asked the technician and he said it's installed correctly and the bottom rubber flap doesn't go under the glass.

Should I use a trim tool to tuck the bottom flap under the glass, or is the rubber trim installed correctly?

Suggestion! Go to dealer lot, find specific model, take picture(s). Then go home & compare picture(s) with your car.

That's how my car is. That looks right. The side trim pieces are supposed to be able to lift up completely. Nothing tucks under the glass as the glass is "glued" down on the edges.

You can take that long plastic piece of easily by lifting it up and place it again correctly.
