Hi,
I have a Mperformance tune on my 340i, i was wondering what happens to the tune if the car has any recalls that require changes to the software or tune. If the tune is affected who's responsibility is it to get it back the dealership or BMW NA.?

This is why I had mine installed at a BMW dealership, from my perspective the MPPSK is a BMW option and would need to be fully supported by the BMW warrantee, even if that required some reprogramming due to some issue.

I haven't tested it though, but I did ask the question about warrantee and support when I bought it, and they said it was completely covered and did not impact any service or warrant support.

I did get mine through BMW dealership myself, but for my car servicing i use a different dealer. not that i have a problem at the moment just a curious what-if question i had.

I hope dealerships across the nation cover it regardless of where it was installed.

You can install the exhaust yourself but need to bring it to the dealer to flash it.

MPPSK will be serviced by any BMW dealer as long as all components have been installed by an authorized BMW dealer (at least in the US).
