Install carbon cover on gear shift knob bmw f36

hello guys. does anyone know how to remove the parts on this shifter? i want to install the carbon fiber cover and I don't want to break anything. thanks

Carefully remove the shift indicator and remove bolt holding trim piece in place underneath.

Just to add - you must pry off the shift cover. It comes off easily.

It's the same process and shift knob for all F3x models, genius. You're a big boy, you can figure it out.
