Installing Bilstein B8 HELP

Installing these B8s on my E90 335xi. Originally I thought the strut sat lower in the pinch clamp. I compared it to the old strut and it looked shorter though. But now, I can't get the sway bar end link in. This is with the rotor jacked up fyi. Thanks.

I was able to get it by dropping the rotor down lower, then attaching end link and nut, then raising. Oops...

I initially thought that the tabs weren't aligned

What springs did you install and how do you like the ride/drop so far?

The tab on the strut should butt up against the top of the knuckle (if it isn't already). Otherwise it'll probably slip under the weight of the car, and might end up misaligned

Curious. What did you do about springs? Did you get a different set of springs or did you use your OEM springs?
