BM3 flash using iPhone hotspot

I am flashing BM3 later today and was wondering if I could use my iPhone hotspot for my laptop. We have WiFi at home but it doesn’t extend to the parking lot and I’d prefer to flash in the home parking lot in case something happens.
Would this work?

I feel you brother, I just went through this whole dance. I had to use my iPhone as a hotspot, and for some reason only my iPhone 6 would connect. My XR wouldn't not connect to my laptop, but that isnt BM3 fault. I ended up switching to a laptop with Bluetooth and tethering to the XR over Bluetooth. Its very tricky if you live somewhere with borderline cell coverage.

One thing Ive noticed via testing is you have to maintain strong clear cell service when datalogging or it messes up the timeline.

The flash itself is amazing though, its like a new car.
