new to BMW

hey guys, just recently upgraded from a 2002 Infiniti i35 to a 2016 CPO 328i.

Loving this car more everyday.
Still has original manufacture warranty till March 2020 then CPO after that.
I’m going to be lurking these forums more for tips and info, this place looks amazing.

Terrible photo! But love this car. The heads up display is the best part for sure.

Are you using the app? On the desktop site it looks fine but might get cropped on the mobile app, however you can see the full image by tapping on it, just an issue with the app is all.

Haha. Honestly.

And thank you guys!
Anything I should look out for or any advice?

Plan on taking it to the dealer close to end warranty date for a good solid once over. I’m sure they would do that correct ??

As well as probably get oil changed a little before my car tells me to. Right now it says 7000 miles till next oil. 19k till next brake. Etc so ima try and be proactive.

Any cheap quick mods to just overall help the car? Wanting to get tint soon. The leather seats are gonna burn in summer

What's your budget and priorities for modifications?

Improving suspension behavior and lighter 19" wheels would be one of my recommendations.

ooh. Maybe like 1-2k in the near future... just don't want anything that would void the warranty until that's done and over with.

priorities. just anything I guess to make it sound better. I do want some nicer wheels, not a huge fan of the stock ones. But they're not the worst.

Your next mod is to lose the license plate frames with the dealer advertising on them.

This is definitely the best/most active BMW forum on the net. You will learn a lot about BMW and your particular model here. I’d recommend not getting too deep into mods right off the bat. Figure out what you like and don’t like before jumping into anything, especially engine and suspension stuff. It’s a pretty bad-ass car right out of the box. Tint is virtually mandatory. There’s a start. Black grilles would probably be next (if you like the look). Super cheap ($50 on Amazon) and about 20 minutes to install.

To keep it under $1,500 USD
-No license plate frame - $0
-Coding with BimmerCode - $50
-JB4 w/ Bluetooth - $500 (Much less of buying a used JB4)
-Axle-Back - $750

Have fun!

What is coding?
Basically unlocking features of the vehicle (enhanced Bluetooth, doors unlock on power off, launch control, sport transmission, mirror folding on lock) with a Bluetooth OBD2 adapter and iPhone.

Thank you guys! Really appreciate any feed back.

Haha and yeah I definitely need to get rid of the frame. I honestly hate them on cars. Just been lazy lately.

Sorry to sound dumb. But what is axle back?
