Question Can I still have the Warranty after I changed the intake or exhaust?

The only way the dealer could deny warranty repairs is if they have proof that the issue is caused by the aftermarket parts. Intake and exhaust are warranty friendly mods. Chips/ECU programming would be risky. Your best bet is to check with your service advisor to see how they typically handle things. Every dealership is different.

If that is true then you might as well mod everything, since a simple exhaust would void it anyway.

You need to find a new dealership

When I look for a BMW dealership I try and find one that is already an authorised Dinan dealer. Dinan BMW service centers see more modified BMW's and seem more open to other mods.

Wink

I agree. There is a dealership close to me that is an authorized Dinan dealer that I will be using in the coming mnths with new mods. But they wanted $6k more than the dealership I bought from. That obviously swayed my decision

Simple answer, an exhaust shouldnt void any warrenty at all. The dealership would have a hard time proving an aftermarket exhaust was the culprit in some kind of engine malfunction. Intakes on the other hand is a different story as the fuel air ratios are now a little different etc etc....
