road rash on my black wheels, repair?

Was at the bank to day and accidentally hit the concrete stupid areas that put you in the lane. Scratched and took off some black paint from the rear wheel. Any ideas to DIY fix or at least make it look acceptable?

I know it's ghetto, but I use sharpie marker to at least cover it up until I can take it to my wheel repair guy...

You know what’s even more ghetto is if it were me, I’d probably use a sharpie marker and call it a day

The perks of black wheels; never really looks dirty no matter how much brake dust, and minor curb rash is so easy to touch-up even with just a sharpie or better yet, black touch-up paint pen.

EXACTLY! I did same to my $175k Masi and used a sharpie until it's finally in shop as we speak.

OP, there is no good DIY permanent fix. A car of this caliper, deserves it done professionally. My Masi wheels are only costing $250 each for complete repair and refinish of a very difficult satin black w/ silver metallic flecks.

Well, I used the sharpie for now and it did the job. Hard to tell it there. For temporary purposes, the sharpie was a $1.48 quick fix!

sand very gently only the affected area, clean then apply this.. it will blend in nicely since its gloss..

i use the satin version on my wife's x5m since wheels are satin works like a charm.

Hey there is a great DIY video on YouTube fixing curb rashes. The guy did a great job. If you want I can share the video.
