Bootmod3 question

Can you shut off CEL from catless downpipe on stock map with bm3.

I tried to flash back to stock and re lock dme, before I did I made sure to configure "cel" OEM, OFF. selected off just as you would configuring any other map. But 200 miles later CEL came back on....

Thanks in advance

not sure about that, but vrsf makes something that can bypass the cel.

or you can also try an o2 sensor extension.

have you tried installing the defouler on the 2nd O2 sensor ? That gets rid of CEL for any catless downpipe.

Yes you can turn off CEL from a catless DP with BM3. It's a setting in the map configuration menu.

I thought that the flash to stock and lock function only used the unmodified stock file.

That was my understanding of the stock file as well. I don't think you can modify it.

Hmm it gives you the ability to configure the stock file tho just the same. Guess the changes just don't physically carry over to the dme
