Driver Profile
In iDrive, I can save/export my driver profile to USB or import a saved profile. Is there also supposed to be some way to save it and import from some place online? If so, I can't figure out how to do it. Thanks for any tips or advice.

In addition to my continuing inability to save my driver profile online, I'm having a problem with Software update. The BMW.com/update website asks for my full VIN and has me download UPD09042.bin, which is supposed to update me to TB 001.062.032 and MB 001.062.040. But, after transferring the downloaded file to USB, an attempt to update the software gives a message that the file isn't compatible with my car. Well, if that's the case, why did they have me download it?
If BMW can't handle things like this, it makes me wonder if the modern safety electronics are trustworthy.
