Sos call troubles !

Hi guys!
Im asking your help because i have troubles with my sos/emergency call fonction... yesterday, i started my car as usual and it called sos by itself 2 times back to back.. Today i was at my house and suddenly, police and ambulance came by saying that they received a sos signal from my car..

Anyone ever had this issue and know what's the trouble?

Or is there a way to just turn off sos cal fonction? I pretty sure i can live without it

Some one in the UK has been having problems similar to yours, He has been told by BMW that the combox is faulty and needs replacing at almost £800.

I had a similar issue with my 2017 440i; water got in under the shark fin antenna on the roof, & slightly shorted the module underneath. It gave me sporadic SOS Malfunctions & incorrectly loaded my GPS location.

Got everything fixed under warranty, no issues since.

This happened to me but no SOS call.. just iDrive not working. Take it in they need to replace module
