Why No Exclusive M Wheels ??

I don't wanna beat a dead horse but as a BMW owner since 2003 i really wanna stick to the brand fidelity , but i'm really scratching my head around this new X4M and X3M , i mean why does it have the same rims as the X3 M40i ?? correct me if i'm wrong but as far as i know it is the very first M product that does not have its bespoke wheels in the history of BMW M division.

not only that but the Tires are even smaller in the X3M/X4M vs their lesser Siblings.

Look closer. Big difference in appearance and wheel widths.

The PS4S is no question the best street summer tire and it comes in limited sizes. So I think they wanted to run PS4S and worked with what they had. Not sure why they couldn't get Michelin to make a new size or two though. Maybe the handling is best with a near square setup.

X3M/X4M have the 765M wheels

The closes thing the M40i has is the 718M wheels

I think there is a pretty big difference between the two.

Since when does the general public matter? We split so many hairs here and get down to the details that most wouldn't think twice or even care. IMO, I think the 765s look great.

But they're not and that's the point. Sorry general public. Good band BTW.

If the car weights (GVW) in over 4300lbs, not sure if shaving 10lb per wheel will make a difference in driving experience. I know it's rotating mass but that GVW is just too much to over come

The 765Ms look a lot nicer than the 718Ms, and I’m a fan of the 718Ms!

The 765M wheels get high marks from me. One of the best OEM wheels from BMW.
