Alzor 881 Delivered...

Just received the new wheels.. ECS honored the buy 3 get 1 free promo. Thanks James.

Finish is OK but with minor blemishes on one wheel, paint chipped off that may get bigger in time. I don't think it's worth returning/shipping back with the hassle and all. Unless James can ship the replacement once there is tracking info on the return.

Can't wait till I install them! It's a 13 year old car, I can't justify installing wheels that are $2k plus with tires, which is probably half the worth of the car lol.

Here are before pics. I'm sure that the majority like these better:

Of course they do...that's what happens with any multi-piece wheel (faux or otherwise); it's even further accentuated when you have a polished lip and different color center section, which is why these wheels only look proportional on 19"+ installs on this platform IMO. Smaller cars (GTI, etc.) can get away with this style wheel in smaller sizes just fine though given the overall proportions, as mentioned above.

With my current setup, the tires a bit stretched now and more tucked in with the 25mm spacers on the rear. Had a better stance with the OEM wheels previously installed. I think Alzor's 35 offset is not accurate considering these are 18 x 8.5 while the Style 416 was 18 x 8 with 34 offset.

Would you guys go with a 30mm spacer or it would not make that much of a difference? ECS is currently having a sale and considering the 30mm bolt on version.

Old wheels were better. New look...very aftermarket/knock off and not in a good way.

Please for the love of god get some center caps, it's not a clapped out honda.

Sorry just my opinion.

Why did you get rid of the alpina's? What were the specs on those?

NP. I just want to try something new. If no one buys the style 416's, I'll just keep them and install them again when I need new tires.

Not sure if you are serious, but those weren't Alpina's but rather Style 416 wheels - 18 X 8 34 offset. They look huge though with the over extending spokes.

Well I was, I guess I just didn't look close enough... I thought at first those were B3 classics... which I thought was a 19" wheel... but now that I actually used my eyes I can see they are style 416's.

Wheels look good! I do not mind reps at all! 30mm spacer would be WAY too big for that though. Maybe a 5mm or 10mm.

Keep up the good work! I think I'm going to get a roof spoiler like that for my coupe. Had one on my e46 and loved it!

I would send back the wheel with peeling paint no matter how much you paid. Yes, I prefer the other wheels but the new ones good, a bit stretched for my taste and I've put BMW Roundels on them.
