GPS activated cameras

I've setup two locations to activate the cameras, office parking lot and home driveway. It only works about 25% of the time, what am I doing wrong?

I've noticed if I drive up my driveway too fast to the road where I have a set point, it comes on and goes away just as quickly as it came on.

Have you noticed that on the 75% of the time yours doesn't work you are going faster than the 25% it does work? (just grasping at straws here)

For me it is also speed dependent. If I'm too fast it won't come on. If I'm creeping forward, like pulling slowly into a blind intersection, it'll always come on.

That makes sense that it would work that way, but I'm glad to know that it does that for other people. Thank you!

The camera works under 10 mph. When you drive from a stop with it on it turns off at 10 mph.

It refers to the surround cameras. Hit the button next to the shifter to activate them then look at the right hand menu you will see an option to save an "activation point" that automatically brings up the camera when you get to a known location.

E.g. your office car park or your house

Just getting back to the forum, I think you may be on to something with the speed influencing it. I'll test the theory, thanks for the suggestion.

As Aliendrive posted above, it it works under 10mph. I also saw in the driver's guide that it said "walking speed", so probably about the same

What is the benefit of this feature? I assume it comes if you have the 360 surround package in the parking package?

I have it set for some of the common blind intersections that I pull into (including coming out of my driveway). It's quite handy to be able to peak around the corner a bit earlier so I don't run over pedestrians etc.
