I am not sure yet. There are few threads out there and few ideas.

It's easy to install the remote above the ashtray/spectacles tray on the left side. It has easy hand access. I have mine there and like it.

This works better, of course, if you hardwire to the fusebox.

At a meet, I saw Scooby9 from E90Post, and he ran his concealed display down the driver's side A-Pillar and on the left hand side of the dash. He also had a mute button right behind his turn signals. I thought that was good idea.

congrats, that is a really nice peice of outdated equipment. You should have gone for the 9500i.

I do like the V1 and have used it for years, but I think Valentine has been resting on his laurels. The GPS feature in the 9500i seems very smart.

Radar detectors are almost moot as lidar is the bigger threat these days. The 9500ci seems like the best solution so far, except it's so expensive.
