Has anyone tried these Coils

So, I use FTP CP's however. So I know they make decent product.. However I am skeptical about anything else at the moment. Has anyone tried these https://www.ftpmotorsport.com.tw/pro...ion-coils-plus

I have not, but that being said, the OEM ones are of very high quality. I would be reluctant to replace them myself.

Upgraded ignition coils have been around for several generations of 3 series and none have been found to provide any increase in performance. If you are looking for something similar to MSD ignition upgrade, this is not it.

what about the ones by precision raceworks? I ask because their is an option in the MHD app that you can check if you have those coils prior to the flash.

edit: it does look like the one from precision raceworks is more than just the coils, its a kit.

I would also add that the coils in the N20 are the same as those used in the S55 equipped M3, so I'm sure they are more than up to the task of handling any performance mods.

Another instance where one should not assume that BMW uses inferior parts.
