OE tires now at Tirerack

For the 21s, I have seen tires from Continental (what I have), Bridgestone and Pirelli.

Tire rack now has the Oe 285/45/21 Bridgestone run flat for 269 each.

I believe the 22" suppliers are Pirelli and Continental

Tire rack has the pirellis now

275/40/22 pzero run flat @ 449
315/35/22 @541

Another reason I went with 21”. The 22s appears to likely have 1/2 - 2/3rds the tread life of the 21” options.

Glad to see some availability... wasn't exactly feeling comfortable being beholden to the dealer network for a replacement tire for my 22s. Now hopefully some winters show up, too. Right now in that 21" size (285/45/21) there is one option: Scorpion Winter. Great tire, but 530/pop. Same tire for the GLS Benz (295/40/21) is about 375.

Im going with BMW's OEM winter set up for now. Think it's a pretty good deal even at MSRP of 4800. This set up can be bought for 4250-4500 (depending on where you buy), pre tax, for a set of 21" rims (754M) on Blizzak LM-001 run flats.

Not sure if the Blizzaks are worth a damn, is the only problem...

Really? If that's true, that's quite significant. Have been thinking of going with the 21" anyway, just for aftermarket tire availability, if nothing else.

Cool. Surprising about the difference in price for those Scorpion Winters you mention.I wonder if that Blizzak setup you mention could be done on the 754 black wheels as well.

Only one official option for rim and tire in the States for now. Europe has the black rim option tho.

Mine 21" M package, came w/ the Bridgestone Alenza. Beware of run flats, harsher ride!

I wish there was an all-season or winter tire option for the 22” staggered wheels.

I wouldn’t mind rocking 22” year-round if I could.

Bmw NA expected the tame rate of the 22s to be low in the north east because for now only summers are available, but I got to think people are getting the 22s.

Got the 22s here in NY. Will have to switch to some all seasons at some point...
