any recommendations on shops in Los Angeles area to replace a windshield? a rock hit it on the highway and there is a large crack. insurance might want to fill it but might be too big.

thanks in advance!

I've used all star Glass twice. Replacements with non oem glass each time paid on my own dime. (on track occurrences) It's nice as they can go to you

For windshield, contact Drew @ OC Auto Glass Repair (949)-454-1884.

For side windows, I've used All-Star Glass as well and was happy.

If the diameter of the crack is bigger than the size of a quarter than yes it will have to be replaced. If your insurance is involved bring it over to South Bay BMW, I have a dozen or so glass certified technicians.

Did you guys go for the recalibration? Is it really necessary ($300)? I don't even use lane departure.

If I don't get that option, will i get any sensor error?
