Definitely an X7, possibly a hybrid, an M50i or X7M?

I would hope the M50i or X7M would have a lot more meat on them tires even on the mule.

Definitely an X7. I would guess that they're testing out the M50i. However, note that the side and rear windows are not tinted. Tires look a little thin. That tells me that they're not just putting the new M50i engine in an existing 50i body and testing how it runs. It does still have the usual fuel door.

I'm going to guess a X7 hybrid prototype. (which I have no interest in) But who knows.

Looks pretty leaning forward. Could be hybrid with a battery load in the front?!

If BMW does it right and fuel economy reaches 30 mpg or better, I would consider trading for a hybrid in 2 or 3 years.
