hi guys can someone please firstly tell me what on earth is the plastic storage compartment in the middle of the rear seats in my 4 series coup is called

also does anyone know if there is a way to remove this and replace it with cushioning

or puttin cushioning on to of it to make it comfortable to sit on

please any ideas would be greatly appreciated

It's nothing more but a compartment to put ur phone or wallet in. No aftermarket parts for it as it would be illegal to seat a person in it. No seatbelt setup for middle seat

i understand but even if no one sat there its just useless there must be a retro fit project out there
