Double Slat Black Kidney Grill DIY for my Black E84 2015 Xdrive 28i (Used)

Hello,

Just want to share my DIY Project replacing OEM Grill with a Black Glossy Double Slat Grill for my E84 2015 Xdrive 28i.
I am sharing packaging as well before and after pictures.
I will include link as well.

Please see link:
https://www.amazon.com/Fandixin-Gril...gateway&sr=8-6

Note:
1. This fits perfectly,no issue.
2. Although,1st shipment from China ended up no where,Supplier did arrange expedited shipment DHL Express on their cost and amazon refunded me 25$ due to issue on shipping.
3. May take 2 to 3 weeks.
4. Supplier responds immediately during issue 1st shipment.

Let me know,if you have further question.
Next Project: Powder Coating Front Bumper Lip as well as Rear,Glossy Black as well.
Does any one knows how to remove front and rear bumper?
Or have done the same black glossy painting?

thanks
Nelo

It doesn't look like they are very difficult to swap out, but has do you have any feedback or suggestions on the process?

Hi Bucketfoot,
It's very hard to swap. You need a tool to push does tab mounted on the chassis.
I even tried this:

Overall: I ended up destructive way,I mean I need to cut the OEM Slab to have access by hand.

thanks,
Neil
