Traction Control Issue
Yesterday on the way home from work I went to overtake a lorry on a long straight and had to pull back in behind it as I had no power, just the traction light flashing so fast it was nearly solid on.
Having left work 10mins earlier I had pulled off fine, and joined an A road without drama, accelerating as normal. Following this I slowed down and let the vehicles in front get ahead so I could try a straight line pull and see what happened, again just traction light and reduced power. Cycled through the different drive modes to see if it made a difference which it didn't. Then I turned DSC off entirely and we had power, turned DSC back on and everything was normal again. I have since driven 100+ miles without the issue reoccurring. However it is now constantly on my mind that every time I try and pull off at a junction, slip road, or to overtake etc it may happen again which could potentially land me in a difficult if not dangerous situation. Anyone experienced anything similar ? Or know what may be the cause ? Thanks in advance |

You should read the codes in the dsc module, otherwise it's just guesswork.
