Belgium vs German 318d f31

Hello bimmerfans
I looking to buy car and looking on mobile.de there is huge gap price between German and Belgium. I wonder is there quality difference between those two. So is better car made in Germany than one made in Belgium?

I doubt BMW produces different cars for different markets. My guess would be that the taxes are different in each country or cars hold their value better.

Agree, as long as BMW sells car within the EU only the specs of the interior and extras are variable.

The rest is a case of taxes and of course a question of often asking about exact this type of car - which has nothing to do within a 4 series section btw.

Hello, I bought my 318d (g20) in Belegie. I was disappoint when I saw that iDrive multimedia (6U3 BMW Live Cockpit Professional) don't have AndroidAuto. In Germany every version of Live Cockpit Proffessional has AndroidAuto

Hi,

I think there is mo such thing as a carpass in germany.
We in belgium have a carpass what means that the millage of the car is noted officially so we are sure how many milles the car has.
But if you buy a car in germany i don't think you have such thing.
So be very careful when you pick one.

No, I can confirm that.
If you are buying an Import from US, the only way to get the last noted odometer mileage, is the amount within carfax.
If the offer differs from the origin data (mostly less than displayed), you could take this as first as a fraud attempt at selling the car.
Sad but true.

It really depends on the model and location; as even within germany you've huge gaps between north/south based on the model and type. In general if you want to favor germany, you should always head for an official seller - just to have a contact in case of issues.

In Germany you usually don't have any "official" history. Some BMW dealers anyway give good "indications" based on the history (if made at BMW) if the milage "sounds legitimate".
