Digital Cockpit Navigation info?

I’ve got a new M40d on order which comes standard with the Digital Cockpit. I haven’t ordered the HUD, so can I expect to see any navigation info in the cockpit cluster?
I thought I’d seen that the centre of the rev counter is replaced with navigation info when using SatNav, but I could have dreamt it.

I think you are correct about Nav info showing up on the tachometer area.

As above.
Yep, the full rev counter (tach meter?) gets taken over in some instances for nav.
Partially for other nav instructions.

Got that set up myself - no HUD, but with 6WB full digital dash.

If I turn off my HUD it does the same thing as well

Yep - and it looks really great on that cluster screen. I might even prefer to keep some nav stuff in there instead of the HUD. Still waiting for my M40i to get here so I can't say for sure yet, but I specifically reduced the HUD content on a test drive to see what appeared in the cluster and it looked fantastic.

I have HUD but was curious to see it in the cluster. Cool to know I can. I do like the HUD though.

I realise it's a personal choice but given you are getting such a nice car why not get the HUD?
In saying that, all X3's in Australia come standard with it.
