Sounds like the fuel pump, which is normal. Is it the same as the sound the car makes when you press the unlock button on your key fob?

Its probably the ventilation motors resetting. Mines makes the same sound. It sounds like a semi truck horn about a block away.

Yep, it does it on it's own. I believe its resetting to be ready for the next ignition cycle.

When I get into the car but do not start the car I get this buzzing sound from behind the instrument cluster. It is NOT the sound of the fuel pump. It lasts for about 2 - 4 mins and then stops and starts again after a few minutes It sounds like a small motor buzz I do not get any locking sounds Anyone got any ideas? |

If it’s the flaps moving in the HVAC system, they shouldn’t be making noise for two minutes. It’s normal for them to adjust shortly after you have shut off/locked your car, but that should last only about 20-30 seconds tops.
Not following what you’re referring to about the locking sounds and/or your car being locked. Perhaps you can explain this another way.
