I noticed on my VIR looks like BMW has a price next to 2VF and 316 when in the ordering guide they are NC and also 4UR is not in the ZPX Package. Can someone weigh in on this?

What is the amount for each you are seeing?
Can you confirm you are referencing an M340?both options are cost on 330.
Can you share an image of the vir, hard for anyone to weigh in without reviewing it.

It looks like they are charging for it now. When I was playing around with building mine yesterday I noticed that but there has been update to ordering guide so I don't know what to think.

And now today I can't even build an M340 or modify an allocation.

The dealer can't add charges to that sheet but with that being said there could be an update to the build later so I would ask to see the final invoice once the car arrives just in case there is an accidental charge. According to the order guide, the power tailgate is a stand-alone option but according to the pricing guide, it is a no-cost option so there is an error somewhere.

Like I said in the other thread - I raised the case with Genius and BMW NA. they acknowledged it is messed.

BMW never had $0 options that are meaningful - unless they are standard equipment.

So now they are all charged for? Since what order date? But the questions is - what happens to the cars ordered already/in production that can not be changed>?

2VF and 316 are both NC on mine.

Still waiting for port install option for black kidney grille and trim.
I added 4UR for $250 to be safe. If it turns out that it’s included for free in ZPX then I’m going to ask the dealer to remove the charge.

BMW Canada has a complete price guide that’s NOT full of errors and they have lots of standalone options and accessories to choose from. BMWUSA needs to get their shit together, they should be embarrassed to have cars rolling off the assembly line right now but they can’t even put together a legit pricing guide!

The car will be produced with the options on the order. However the actual pricing and ordered options for a car are not fully set until I think it hits the dealer inventory. So cars ordered when the pricing was wrong will show up with those options just with a charge next to them. And if you thought something was included because the order guide said so but it's not it just won't be there. Because a factory order really isn't a true customer to factory order... it's really the dealer ordering but letting bmw know the car is sold (priority shipping/processing)... bmw can and occasionally will change whatever they want. Obviously they try not to for the sake of consistency and the dealers interaction with the consumer.

Similar case, my 440 was a "factory order" with a few port installed options (mppsk, black grill, side sill accents) however at the port bmw felt the need add another 1k of options (stainless pedals, first aid kit, and some other stuff I didn't want) When I asked how that could happen they reminded me bmw can do whatever until the car gets to them. (Side note the dealer made it right and just went below invoice for the added out the door cost)

I had this happen a few years ago on a 435 I had ordered for a client. When we ordered it, the 19" wheels were a $0 cost option and when the vehicle was on the boat, the invoice showed a $900 charge for it. Once I saw that, we made a call to BMW, provided the original build sheet and they sent us a refund for the difference to honor the original build.
