Any M2C in the DC Area?

Just trying to understand how many M2C are in the area. What kind do you own in terms of transmission?

Thanks

Pretty sure I saw one of you guys with HS headed back to DC after a work ski trip to White Tail a few weeks ago, passed you on the highway.

I work in your neck of the woods. HS, 6MT, blue stitching, silver 763 wheels. Ordered it in June, picked it up the day after Thanksgiving, 4400 on the odometer.

(lurk) I'm in NoVA and while I don't currently own an M2 it's something I'm planning to change this year; '19 M2c.

Speaking of which, sunset orange metallic M2C in Ashburn this PM (no front plate) - any of you?

that's pretty much identical to mine, minus the carbon bits (for now). 763s are still awaiting tires though that I will order and mount in next couple of weeks.

For you DMV pals - which local dealerships did you get your M2s from? Alexandria tells me they have an allocation. I've also read that Silver Spring isn't terrible to deal with...

though I've wondered about 'service perks' that only apply to the dealership that you buy the car through - interested to hear any thoughts about this too...

My experience at large dealerships (in DC area) is this type of behavior is non-existent. forming a good relationship with your service advisor is all you need. They get so many people in they can't possibly care or track what dealer you purchased from.

My current m2c I purchased from far out of state but I will get serviced at BMW Fairfax where I have gone for over a decade for all my cars, none of which were ever purchased from them.

My experiences with Alexandria aren't the best so I rarely ever go there even though that's the closest to me. Silver spring I bought from once but isn't feasible for me to consider for service but I do hear good things.

Sunset Orange, 6MT, Sunroof delete. Got it from Alexandria over 4 months ago, only one in the area the had allocation at the time. SA experience was great through delivery but not impressed after I received it. I live in MD and the registration process left much to be desired.

Anyone members of NCC?

yes. req'd in order to participate in some of the events such as their hpde's. plus the $500 rebate (higher amounts for some other cars) isn't a bad perk.

Ordered mine from BMW of Rockville. Guys are Rockstars in my mind. I showed up there late in the game at the end of June with no allocations available at the other dealerships in the area (I was 7th on waitlist at BMW of Fairfax). Called Rashaad at the Rockville, MD store, he knew I was serious about buying, so the sales Manager told me I could have his allocation he was going to use for the dealership. Got it at MSRP of course. The gift for buying was an M carbon fiber plate frame.

IMO -best seller for me was Alexandria-not even close-Karen Cruz sold my car and I got an og lci 2018 out the door for 55K with USAA. The other dealers could not come close.
Buy from there. Service at alexandria is TERRIBLE. Goto Sterling or Fairfax or Rockville for service.
