2008 BMW 128I  [0.00]
Same thing as techron that you can find at any autozone, or any of those kinds of stores. Does work great but Id used it close to an oil change.

Do you think the BLOW-BY residual of the fuel cleaner gets into the oil or something like that ? I tend to think that may happen.

One reason I posted, for the first time I see the fuel cleaner listed in the Accessories for my 235 on the BMW web site.

Yes it's just good procedure to do it close to an oil change so it doesn't have the chance to thin your oil.
It might not get the the oil but people always say there is a chance.

Iv'e used it a few times I saw the most improvement on a port injection car. I think our direct injectors work or don't.

I tend to agree with another post. Top tier gas is the first/best approach using the recommended octane level.

However, using a good fuel system cleaner is recommended too. It just doesn't clean the injector, but it removes water from the system and lubricates the system.
