M5C racechip dyno results

I took the car to a dynojet today. The car has 1250 miles, 80.3 temp, 30.22 humidity and 93 nonethnol gas. The car is completely stock other than a racechip. Still has the charcoal filter in the air box.
Max power 682.3
Max torque 614.69

Which Map/setting was this?

That smoothing is on 5 correct? when I zoom it gets too grainy for my eyes to fully read

Max numbers are strong...but I'm not liking that power curve if that is on a 5 smoothing, If its on a zero ask them to give you a graph on 5.

Thanks!

Ok that curve while set on max smoothing is a little odd and all over the place, there seems to be a lot of modulation going on...either throttle, boost, or a dyno issue...etc?

do you have a log? was the car in dyno mode?

a good tune isnt about just peak number, the curve is just as important or more so than peak numbers.

a log would be super beneficially

They had trouble with the wire to the coil. The rpm was very jumpy on the screen. they said that was why the torque was all over the place. I did not know the car had a dyno mode.

Ok well thats positive news in this case lol.

The car does have a dyno mode...now whether it makes any real difference IDK. I'm sure it just kills ABS and DSC, but I dont think there is any official documentation on it.

All you had to do was turn the chip off???

Back to back runs. Easy.

I will schedule another run soon and turn the chip off. I seriously forgot until they were running the last run.

I'm not sure what to make of all these tunes and whatnot... This was my stock run, 2018 F90, on glorious 91 octane, inside a mustang dyno... Not compensating for AWD drive train loss...

Custom tune next week or the week after, depending on if I have time and exhaust gets installed... Will run another dyno after...

That torque reading seems really high for stock, wheel numbers (especially for a Mustang dyno)--that's what it's showing, though, right?

Correct... They did a few runs... And yes, mustang Dyno... 91 octane as well so that also leaves more head scratching... I am at sea level so no elevation...

The torque numbers - that's what I'm confused by comparing it to other people's tuned dyno results...

I'll have them run dyno again before they tune and post results... =/

Yeah... Those intakes are more visual and sound mod not performance, that's for sure...

its very common for places to configure their mustangs to read similar to DJ numbers. - A shop by me has both a DJ and MD and they read nearly spot on, as they configure it to read that way.

Without knowing all the variables its impossible to know.

That is exactly the problem, bad connection for rpm pickup. In that case torque value is read from highest jagged point. Not accurate reading.
Takes a dip in horsepower between 105 and 115 mph also. Don’t know what rpm range because units are in mph on bottom of graph instead of rpm.
