must have power tools?

just picked up a milwaukee mid toque impact gun - looking forward to using it to change brakes, etc.

what are some of your "must have" power tools for working on cars?

Cordless impact wrench / impact driver / screwgun / flashlight set sees constant use. I love my Hitachi 18V.

Besides my E92 coupe, I also have a 2005 E46 ZHP convertible, and I've appreciated all the 50sKid E46 DIY videos on YouTube . I watched him use the Milwaukee 2457 right angle ratchet for so many jobs, I just had to try it. And for me, it's become an invaluable tool for so many car applications and around the house

It speeds up so many jobs and can get into tight spaces. Highly recommended and I've just added an M12 drill to my tool box to take advantage of only needing 1 charger for all the tool batteries.

I started with a milwaukee drill, then a impact driver (for screws), then got an actual impact wrench and just recently got a ratchet as well.

All Milwaukee stuff. I would probably just get a wrench and ratchet if you didn't have anything.

FYI they make chargers that charges both batteries.

I've been looking for a decent right angle impact... but honestly, I've worked on my wife's and my car for years without any power tools.

I've got a complete rolling tool chest from working on cars for 50 years, but the right angle Milwaukee just added a level of ease and convenience to make some jobs just that much easier.....

Same goes for when I bought an impact driver to change tires. Of course you can do it with manual tools (and I did for years), but the convenience of these more powerful battery operated tools speed up lots of jobs and have found a welcome spot in my tool box

Impact wrench, power ratchet, many lights, nice gloves.

I used my Milwaukee Rocket tower tower light for doing my VCG and it was phenomenal. Their handheld lights are also fantastic as well.
