BMW G01 specs as of 2019-08

I found this spec sheet for the entire G01 lineup on a BMW website today and thought it might be interesting for G01 owners.

Enjoy!

I did not know that the cd (coefficient of drag) was 10% higher on the M40i and m40d.

0.29 for the vanilla. 0.32 for the one that is dipped and has sprinkles.

Interesting.

I wonder what the correct braked towing weight is. This document states 2400kg everything else I've seen including the BMW website states 2000kg (4400lbs).

A couple of us were having this discussion the other day on another thread - we *think* that it's 2400kg if you opt for the factory retractable towbar and 2000kg otherwise.

My M40i with factory retractable towbar shows 2400kg on the V5.

To add supporting data to the mix, my 30d says 2000kg on the V5.
Would imagine if any of the engines was going to tow something, it would be my one; but no towbar so...

Strange, I thought lower suspension decreased drag!

Bigger wheels and tyres? Body kit?

Yes it must be the front bumper. Front wheels are same width on base model I think.

The M badges!

Seriously though, I agree it has something to do with bigger standard wheels (19" vs 18" for the lower trims). Also, one of the front air intake (right side) is real so drag is also increased slightly? Additionally, bigger muffler on the back not helping?

The air intake might make sense.

The F20 1 series has a similar difference.
The 4 pot 120i is 0.31 and the 6 pot M140i (with extra air intake at front) is 0.34. My old M135i which was on the same body was 0.33 with the extra air intake too.
