Black Grilles & Spacers on the M40

I've fitted genuine M Performance grilles and 15mm Eibach spacers to the X3, I think it gives it a nicer stance and slightly meaner look.

Looking forward to fitting the Eibach springs and summer wheels, which could be soon given the current weather!

Good work. Needs the 20s back on though to benefit aesthetically.

I take it you're going all black now, front air intake boomerangs, mirrors etc?

I live the silvery bronze I must admit, but not everyone's cup of tea. I see being Matt they're really prone to water spotting so have them a polish when cleaning today.

I think from this weekend you'd be safe now with the summers back on....

...probably.

I have ordered some carbon “bimmerangs” but there’s no mirror caps available yet, only the carbon ones that stick on top of the existing ones, which don’t look great! I’ll definitely leave the silver whiskers on the front bumper though, I do like them.

Looks awesome. I have some black pieces coming in from IND and about to order 15mm spacers too. Glad to see this is what I have to look forward to...

Interesting that it appears that the side vents are just taped on. I thought for sure there would be a couple of clips hoping them in. At least gives me a good idea now of how I need to remove mine when I get the black ones.

Those ones just stick over the top of the existing ones. The existing ones do have several clips holding them on, they can just just be pried off with a plastic tool.
