CRAP. Sorry that sucks ass. Hope it all turns out well. That's what BMW assist is for. They are really efficient. Let us know what went wrong after you fix it.

Update: Just dropped off my vehicle at the dealer. I didn't use BMW Roadside because they quoted at least 90 mins for a tow truck and local PD says they would only wait for me for 30 mins max. Anyhow PD called a tow for me. I couldn't risk them leaving me with my wife and child with me. Cars were already passing my dangerously on the shoulder.

I'll update on the vehicle issues as I receive them.

Man, glad you are ok. On top of getting a free loaner, try to get BMW to reimburse you with your own tow truck if they found fault of car repairable under warranty. Keep us posted.

This got me thinking if your car is tuned and this happens your kinda in trouble. How are you supposed to flash back before brining it in. That is one of my biggest fears. Not having my laptop and wham something like this happens. Granted it didn’t stop me from flashing but just curious how something like this should be handled.

Sorry haven't been able to provide those interested with an update. But basically they put me in a rental for now (No BMW loaners available at the time). My SA said they were able to put it on the lift late yesterday only to tell me they confirmed the vehicle doesn't start. He said he'd provide a better update sometime today. Still no word on the Tow Bill reimbursement.
