Picked up a Artic White M2C today.

So I am new to BMW ownership, picked up a AW DTC M2C today after debating on it for quite some time. Very happy with my decision, it is a wonderful driver's car. I have owned many sport cars over the years, I do HPDE events at least once a year, etc. A new BMW was a bucket list item for me really, I have driven many over the years but never owned one.

I have been trolling this forum for a few weeks, just checking out upgrades that I would consider, etc. I really like the BMW M carbon front lip and side skirts, perhaps the rear spoiler as well. Anyone that has installed these yourself? I am very much a DIY person, I have a lift and tools at my disposal and frankly prefer to do any work on my cars myself.

VIR mostly, I try to do the Rezoom event there each year, great group of people.

Road Atlanta is where I have the most track time in from years past.

It was an easy DIY on the 2018 M2. Two screws and a bunch of pop rivets.

By the way, I love my AW M2. Good choice on color.

Most of the carbon bits are pretty simple DIY if you're handy.

Youll want a heat gun for removing the old spoiler though. Plenty of videos in YouTube for how to get it done.

I will get some photos this weekend, when I picked the car up it was pouring rain, took it to a friend's climate controlled garage where I will give it a complete cleaning and light buff, then I will apply ceramic coating to all of the exterior, interior leather, carpet, etc. (yes they make coatings for leather and fabric and yes, it is amazing!).

I will snap some photos after I am done, I have a guy coming next week to tint the windows as well. I will post up some photos after the tint again to this thread once that is done.

Awesome! I would have loved HS, but our local dealer had this AW and I got a great deal on it. I have debated having it wrapped, perhaps in the Audi Grey, or a satin orange (Lambo-ish).

The car has the orange stitch interior. So both would look great with it. I have not given up on the AW yet, I am thinking with carbon lip, side skirts, and spoiler/rear, it might just win me over.
