Rear Spoiler for M240i Convertible

I want to get a carbon fiber rear spoiler for my son for his 2017 vert. What options are out there? It looks like most won't fit the convertible.

He's wrong. It's not listed as fitting but it does. I test fit one on my car but decided against it.

Lots of convertible owners here running MP CF.

I have it as a port-installed accessory on a 2er vert I'm taking delivery on Friday. Should fit. I can post a pic once I have it...

Fyi, I had mine glued down. It comes with 3M double sided tape, but I didn’t have the installer use it.

Smart move @meloHYPE! Tape can be so variable in its reliability, based on sensitivity to conditions when first applied. BMW makes their own urethane product for such uses as well.

You wouldn't want to be responsible for the guy behind you when a rear spoiler comes off your car at highway speed, just about at the height of that guy's head.

Rear Spoiler for M240i Convertible

I can confirm above info. I got the CF Rear Spoiler (Part #51-62-2-334-541) in Oct 18 from getBMWparts.com for $454.44 (List $541.00) and it fits my 2019 M240 CV perfectly.

I had it installed by a guy who installs these protective transparent films for hoods and he used a lot of additional 20lb tape at the ends and in the middle between the tape in comes with and it won't go anywhere. Just got back from a 2,500 mile road trip where I drove the car very fast (my limiter is set to 155 mph not 130) and the spoiler shows no sign of loosening.
