What is a wiki customer?

Getting my 1200 mile service done and I asked nicely not to wash my car or drive it w/o me . The dealer is super cool and friendly, no complaints.

When walking out I noticed he wrote "Wiki Customer" on the form and now I'm uber curious on what it means. Anyone?

I'm guessing it means one of these guys.

https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1578647

"Phew!! I'm glad to hear that this is a common request. If it was my ct200 I would welcome the wash because I literally do not care, but if these guys add swirls i'm going to die inside...or ask them to correct it.

Thanks gents. I'm going to print out a bunch of DO NOT WASH papers at work and bring them in"

"Wiki" is probably their internal name for referring to anal-retentive customers.. :

Personally, I appreciate the free car wash at the dealer. I don't care about any possible swirl marks, as compound buffs it out like new, anyways.

There are bigger things to worry about, like the angst teen texting behind me, slamming into my back and ruining my perfect swirl-free paint.

Wait until they wash your windshield with sponge previously used on rockers and bumpers. Sorry couldn't resist.

Not too worried about that.. Life is full of risk

And beside, the Mexican that washes my car at the dealer is 'one of the good ones..'

He's pretty careful with my vehicle, as I tip well.

Ha Ha

I was joking, no MAGA hat here; I voted for the pants-suit lady.

Not my first choice but no way in hell I would help elect a snake-oil salesman for President..

And also, I ain't trying to wash my own car

If you have your vehicle detailed and buffed once or twice a year, it will be many years before the paint possible oxidizes. By then, it will be someone else's problem.

I understand why you guys are concerned but it's just a car and they're practically made as disposal product. Nowadays, very few keeps a vehicle beyond 7 years or more, if that..

I'm glad I inspire your guys' inner jokester.

I'm glad to be a kiwi lmao. I wash and detail my car weekly. There are zero swirls on my car and I want to keep it that way.

Kept my E39 M5 for 14 years, '72 E3 for 15 years, 850R for 20 years, still have the E90 330i since ordered new 13+ years ago, M3 is in year 7 now...

I never allow automatic car washes or in fact anyone but ourselves to wash our cars. Things are a lot better in today's world with the sealants and ceramic coatings available at least.

Why don't you ask them directly and see what they say?
