Best driving streets/roads in L.A.

Hey everyone,

I'm just dying to take my car to a great driving road in Los Angeles! I'm closer to the San Fernando Valley, but would drive up really anywhere where it's exciting.

Can someone point me in the right direction and give me recommendations? Thanks!

Angeles Crest. Especially 6 am on a Sunday morning.

Soledad Canyon http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soledad_Canyon

Again, early on a Sunday morning.....

Santa Paula to Ojai to Santa Barbara. On a weekday with less traffic.

How do you recommend I get to Soledad Canyon and Angeles Crest from the Valley?

Take the 5 north to the 14. Exit the Soledad Canyon exit (right after Sand Canyon exit.) Turn right and head up the canyon.

If you want, you can catch the Angeles Crest on your way back. Take Soledad past Agua Dulce and head towards Palmdale (you will parallel the 14) Look for the Pearblossom Highway and then head south on the Crest back to LA. You can exit at La Canada-Flintridge on the Crest and either take the 2 back or hop onto the 210 to get to the SF Valley.
