Right, I did not notice all the options seen in the video when I glanced at the gesture menu this morning.

What do these gestures do?

Is there a complete list of gestures available in the G05? The manual seems not comprehensive on this point.

I find the gestures annoying to use. Anyone else feel the same?

Look in the OP now, the OP added all that ours can do

I love them and use them all of the time. I tend to talk with my hands though

The gestures have worked flawlessly for me. Our use them all the time. Small little motions are all it takes. Most reviews using them are motioning too large.

The edited version of the OP is copy/paste from the manual so perhaps that is all we have which is less than what is shown in the video.

Regarding the pinch/move gesture for the 3D view. Is that only available with a certain option? I opted for the parking assistance package so I have all the cameras, and can view front/back/left/right cameras, but I don't seem to have the cool panorama view from the top and no amount of pinching or moving makes them move (I have to manually select which camera to see).

My ordered car has a gesture control credit. I have assumed that for some reason it wont have gesture control. I guess they ran out of parts?

No, it's a free feature right now. They're not charging for it. I guess bc it's more of a gimmick. Although I use it all the time.

Go to the screen that shows the camera (press the P button near the shifter). Then using the iDrive controller, tilt to the left to bring up the menu on the left. Select the 3D view. This will show a 3D rendered view of your X5. Now you can use the pinching to spin the car around and see it from different angles. A cool gimmick, but not all that useful in my opinion.

I agree. I use gestures all the time for volume, muting, skipping stations/tracks, navigating home...
