I Level programming

Has anyone heard of this my service note says reprogrammed vehicle to the latest I level? my reason for bringing this up is my car feels like it's on steroids now, the burbles a are so much more aggressive and the throttle response is so smooth, its like I got a tune from BMW themselves.

My running in service was yesterday and they charged me approx £35 for a ‘retune’ or something like that. I just assumed it was to do with the M performance spoiler that I had put on at the same time. But when I drove away the car felt more powerful (could also be I had been driving a 116i for previous 3 days!)

what service center did you bring your car to? I feel like my car is struggling on the low end RPM and doesnt really pull until i am past 5k

Can you post a pic of your invoice. If there is in fact an update, it would help if we could show something to the dealer. Also, was this part of your break in service or later?

I had an issue with my vehicle Intervals, they ended up doing a CBS data Reprogramming and updated to the latest I level.

I hate to burst your bubble, the added, so call speed factor is probably since the ecu is re programmed,(flashed), and as such it also resets your adaption values.
Aka a reset, which in turn means the car is re- learning your driver behaviour, and may act more faster then usual. Enjoy !
in 2-3 days it will be the same.
