Center console removal

Anyone knows how to remove the center console?

I mean the whole console housing, not just the trim.

1) Do the trim first.
2) You'll find two screws underneath the trim - release them.
3) Remove the backside panel of the armrest, which also includes the heating/cooling adjuster wheels for the backseat. It's held in place by plastic tabs only, you'll have to release them with a screwdriver. You can reach them if you push the screwdriver behind the housing from the direction of the floor (from underneath).
4) Remove the two screws from the bottom of the housing. (You'll find them behind the backside panel.)
5) Lift up the handbrake lever cover (don't remove it), beginning at the top.
6) Release any cable connections you see (USB/AUX, heating controls etc).
7) Pull the entire middle console housing back to release it from the dashboard, and lift it.
