which car would u choose? e92 coupe vs 6 series coupe
every one i know is waiting with eager anticipation at the arrival of the new 3 series e92 coupe. just wondering what coupe you e90 guys and gals would rather own?
The 3 series coupe has always been the class leader for the junior executive coupe, but its popularity has made it too common on the roads. The 6 series, though controversial in looks, is a truly exotic beast and a much rarer sight, making it more of a head turner. |

The 6-series is one seriously good looking car IMHO.

I have a hard time imagining someone deciding between a 3 and a 6. That's a series price difference. Someone who would consider a 6 may consider a Porsche though. That would be a tougher decision to make.

Personally, I can't see how BMW is going to sell very many 6 Series cars after the E92 comes out. The E46 Coupe has more room inside when compared to it;;;you can just imagine how much the E92 will have. Then of course there'll be the new engine.....

Buying a 6 doesnt have anything to do with space.
Its about prestige and love for a sportscar. Anyways, here in Norway, the 6 owners usually have a Range Rover as their second car, so space isnt the issue... C

Surely there is a HUGE price difference between the two cars?
This makes a thread like this a bit of a moot point. If you can afford the bigger, nicer, more powerful car...why is there a question? |

You're comparing apples to oranges. Most prospective E92 buyers will not be deciding between an E92 and a 6 series coupe. Their wallets will have already made that decision for them.

I have to agree that the 6 wins my vote (can't imagine why ) - I also agree it's the wrong comparison. E92 ought to be compared with its like competition and the same with the E63.
Old and new competitors for E63 are the new Jag XK (especially when R version released), MB CL/CLS, Lexus GS, Maser, etc. not it's little brother. And yes, more cars in the stable required. No dogs in the 6er, no hauling of mulch, and no long trips with more than two adults |

there's no chance in hell I'd spend 6 series money at the BMW store
for less money, you can have M roadster or coupe, porsche Cayman, or 911 all are better sports cars than the 6 |

Since no one has seen the production version of the E92, why not reserve judgment until you see it? How can you compare a car that is out for sale with a car that isn’t out yet?
Jon.
