BMW thinks the mighty American are too good to have a 135i. This thread should come with a warning - rest of the world only LOL

The 135i is what really got me into BMWs; I remember in 2007 way before Bimmerpost was this structured, running to the newsstands to read the reviews of this new, bite-size Beamer that they manage to shoehorned with the same motor as the larger, more expensive, twin-turbo 335i motor but in a smaller package, with larger, more powerful Brembo brakes.

Does that concept sound familiar?

If anything, the 135i is the pioneer that really brought the entry-level crowd to the BMW brand and open the doors for cars like the M2 and M2C, down the road..

I bought a 2013 135i, sold it in 2016 for a new Tacoma, then added the M2C late last year as I missed the 1 series too much. Very happy with the M2C, especially given I’ve still got the truck to run around in when needed.
