Always display Apple Pay screen

We just got our G05 last week and new to the iDrive 7 system.
No idea why my wife's and my iPhones always display Apple Pay screen while connecting to the iDrive system.
It's kind of annoying and BMW service department doesn't have the answer.
If you know what triggers/causes this incident and how to solve it, can you please share the solution?

Thanks. I am new to the forum and don't quite understand how the keyword search works in this forum. When I typed Apple Pay in the search fields, it returned too many results to me which includes Apple or Pay. I also use 'Apple Pay' or "Apple Pay", but still too many results.
I found couple of posts, and it seems no solution so far. (The conclusion is either BMW engineers are working on it or it's Apple's issue) Am I right?

Picked up my G05 and although I have an IPhone 7(no Qi) when I placed on the Qi pad up came Apple Pay. The genius said "it's up to Apple to fix that issue".
