Forgotten phone warning.. Anyone have this alert them?

I don’t believe I have seen the “Forgotten phone warning” when leaving the phone on the charger. I have it enabled but not sure when the warning is suppose to be given like when the engine shuts off?

My warning works when - a) My iPhone is in the wireless charge tray AND b) I shut off the vehicle and open the driver's door... Then - chimes sound/warning appears on control screen.

Ah, perhaps I didn’t hear the chime or need to turn it up. So there is no visual warnings on the dash or iDrive? I turned off the gong for the gesture control and that ma also be it.

I remember an audio alert, but thought there was a message as well because the first time I heard it I was uncertain what was going on.

I have been reading through the digital owners manual every night. There is soooo much new info that I need to digest a section at a time. I actually enjoy reading the manual. I will play around with the warning conditions tomorrow.

There is a visual alert in the instrument cluster. I haven't heard the chimes, but perhaps I don't have them enabled/turned up loud enough.
