850 in the snow

Any opinions on how the 850 would do in snow?
This is assuming you mount winter tires.

I wonder if the front clearance is good enough.

Just as well as any other 4wd BMW car. Fairly well until you come across snow drifts higher than the front bumper

Given how well the M5 is doing with snow tires on, I would say it would do well. Please refer to M5 thread and read predominantly positive feed back. Snow tiers are a bit pricey for these cars though. At least I live where it doesn't snow. 😀
