I have a m40i en route and I have purchased a Mission tune for it. Won't be installed for probably a month though (by the time I get the car and break it in, etc.). I am probably 45 minutes from their HQ.

PM'd - just realized you wrote en route (assuming you don’t have it), hope someone has one on hand 👍🏼

I will post a write up once I’m done testing under various conditions as well as some extended e85 jaunts. I want to be thorough and compare the initial stage 1 as well as the update and want to hone in on what kind of effects the tranny flash has on everyday driving conditions. The G01's transmission tuning is a bit different than other ZF8 B58 platforms so it was re-tuned accordingly to be symbiotic with his newest flash tune. So far, it's nothing less than magical..but I digress. Hopefully I can so a more succinct review & breakdown soon.

Alex is working tirelessly on this so I am hoping to help iron out any minor hiccups for the mass. Also, I am in California so I am limited to garbage 91 octane but it will be a good baseline since most are not doing stage 2 or going FBO.

Stay Tuned! The word of the day is torque, torque, torque!!

Any updates? Can we atleast get a 0-60 time so I know if this is the way I want to go? I have hit a best of 3.88 on J4, map 5 with 96 octane. It hits 4.0 consistently but just not smoothe.

3.88 valid slope? I thought that was an excessive slope run?

What’s not smooth about JB?

Well being that I've experienced both, I have quickly developed a pretty righteous option. I prefer Mission for more reasons than I can list over the JB4.

I hope this is why he hasn't been answering any emails, as I need to get my car flashed in the next couple of weeks after it arrives, and would like to possible get the TCU tune as well (depending on cost and feedback).

Plan on it if I don't hear back when the car arrives. As I am still waiting for the car no need to rush it, especially during the holidays. I was just surprised as he was quite responsive the first couple of emails.

Does anyone have an update on this? I purchased the tune but I want to make sure the 0-60 gets better with this tune? Looking at the Dyno charts it seems the upper range is way better then stock.

Yes, the 3.88 was -.43 over valid slope. I have tons of 4.00's that are valid though so I think that's about where it hits.

It’s disengious to ever reference an invalid run / slope. What’s so hard about sharing only the valid ones?

Did I miss the review and discussion thread or are we still waiting? I'm really curious to know more...

I was playing like I had a fast X3...

I guess if one was to internet race, we would need to compensate for DA. I am often jealous when I see all the people with DA's under a 1,000 ft. I have rarely had a run when I was under 3,500 ft and that is after years of actual drag racing.

All that being said, I was wrong for posting the 3.88. I have a 4.00 car.

In all honesty, if you look back at the threads around that time, I was testing a Hellcat, a highly modded RS3, a Z06, an AMG and the x3 all that weekend, I didn't want to go back and look at all the data on the X3 but here is a valid run.
