Removal of smokers package

Has anyone selecetd removal of the smokers package as an option. I don't smoke and was thinking of asking for it to be removed but was wondering what you got in its place. Can anyone tell me?

I believe you get a sunglass holder or something similar instead of the front ashtray and lighter. The rear ashtray becomes an open shelf with a rubber floor and small lip similar to the cubby under the trip computer in an E36.

yes this is true but dont u lose the *** lighter thats allways handy for your speed cams traps and phone charger and stuff like that

Yes you do lose the front lighter. I got the storage option that adds the 2 power points in the rear console which compensates in a way. There is still the one in the armrest though.

thats a good idea next time i will do that as i am not a non smoker

You guys in the UK have the option ... I believe its 441Option Delete (basically its Smoker's Package Delete)...yes you do get something quite like the sunglass holder but still retain the front power point...You also have the badge delete option (Option 520)... good luck!

To confirm - you only get the one power outlet in the centre console - not in the old ashtray.

I deleted the smokers pack

As other mentioned you get the sunglass holder instead of the ashtray and lighter. It's great.

The other difference that nobody mentioned is that in the back the ashtray is also removed. Last year they would remove the drawer and replace it with a little rectangular cubbyhole (which I always felt looked terrible.

However... they seem to have changed this. On my car, the rear ashtray is absent, the place where is was is blanked off (no cubby hole) and the whole shape of the rear centre is console is different. It curves in at the bottom (it looks nice). I don't think there is a picture on the forums so I will try to take one and post it.

Wish we had the option to add it here in the U.S. I wouldn't use it for smoking, but it would be nice to have the power supplies in the rear seat.
