First time owner, learning quickly M235i F23
So, I now know what an F23 is, and a N55, and how much an oil change costs ($90) and Brake fluid change ($125). I shouldn't need anything that would justify a $1640 maintenance extension just to give me about 23 more months and mileage to 75k (at 18k now).
BMW of NW Arkansas in Rogers does not sell the BMW branded ESC, but they do sell their own third party contract (never happen). There is an incredible amount of information available with a "key read." Everything except how many times the car was washed. It even tells you your brake life remaining. Key Read also indicated there is an extension of the factory warranty "For this vehicle BMW of North America LLC is extending the taillight bulb socket coverage up to 5 years or 75k miles whichever occurs first, as determined by the vehicles original in service date. Please see SI B63 05 17 for the tail light bulb socket with retrofit ground wire repair and claim submission procedure (DC 63 21 90 11 00)." There are BMW contracts that are less than MSRP if you look hard enough. Maintenance expiring 10/30/2020 or 75k miles whichever comes first. (This would give me about 23 months from now). $1640 Extended warranty Gold 6/75 $2819 7/100 $3639 Platinum (Major difference is Infotainment Center and Nav is covered, not in Gold) 6/75 $3189 7/100 $4129 Best I can tell this about $1500 off MSRP. It doesn't look like the convertible top is covered, but some of the hardware is. |
