2007 E93 cab manual juddering badly under load

Hi guys,

A good pal of mine owns a 2007 335i SE E93 manual, clocks on about 55k, its pretty much standard just running a stage 1 MHD flash.

Ive not experienced the problem myself but this is how its described: during a semi/hard pull through all gears it begins to judder really bad, just as bad cold/hot, having to dip the clutch to remediate it and drive really steady.

Its not throwing any codes at all.

Its been into stealership they couldn't read any problems, updated to latest BMW software and MHD also removed and still occurring.

Any thoughts?

Can't really help sitting at my desk here. Would need to drive or see I think. Sounds like clutch slippage or something if there aren't any codes. Did the stealership test drive at semi/hard throttle?

It is a partial misfire prob a weak coil or plug . Next could be injector and worse case could be ring land and a dead hole. Pull a log with lambdas and timing on all cylinders and stfts

Dealer said they test drove it, didn't notice anything wrong... makes me wonder if they did drive it or not

Plugs been done not so long since, will check on coils but I was discussing injectors with Martin (the chap who owns it) the other day.

Can it be logged with MHD, will that show anything?

Coils all changed same time as plugs. So just leaves injectors
