Trackstar Racing in Mountain View, CA

I've been going to Steve Casaletto, who now owns his own BMW repair/upgrade shop, for years and I feel I have to spread the word a little. Steve is a great guy and a BMW master technician. He kept my old car in top condition. Not many people seem to know about his shop Trackstar Racing (located in Mountain View, CA), and I think he could use a few more customers.

Steve used to work at Rennwerks, and years ago he worked at Stevens Creek BMW, the local dealership here. I've been to Dinan, AE Performance, and several dealerships around here and no one is as good as Steve. And he's a true car guy. So if you're in the area, maybe give him a try. You'll know exactly who's working on your car: Steve. He's at 2139-D Old Middlefield Way (www.trackstarracing.com).

Full Disclosure: if Steve left the repair business, I'd be very sad and would have to take my car somewhere less good to get it fixed! I have no affiliation, I'm just a customer of his.

Thanks for posting, I have heard great things about Steve at Trackstar and in fact take my car for regular maintenance to him as well

Thanks! Good to know of a recommended shop in the Bay. I'm sure people will keep him in mind.

thanks for the recommendation and info! once my warranty ends (in about 6k miles), i'm going to be looking for an indy bmw repair shop and i'll def take trackstar into consideration. also great that they're in the peninsula/south bay area!
